The history and
development of badminton in Indonesia
Where sports are
badminton and how early history? People only know the name of badminton came
from a house / castle in the Gloucester-shire, about 200 kilometers west of

of the establishment of Badminton Association of Indonesia (PBSI)
At first the

Indonesia Badminton
In its
development, badminton in Indonesia has become a sport of the people. There are
also many achievements that have resulted from this sport. Indonesia has been
doing well in the World Championships, Thomas and Uber Cup, All-England
Championships, Sudirman Cup, as well as major sporting event like the SEA
Games, Asian Games and even the Olympics.
Many
well-athletes who excel from the era Alet Rudi Hartono, Susi Susanti, Liem Swie
King, Alan Budikusuma until the present era is Taufik Hidayat, Markis Kido and
Hendra Setyawan. Actually there are many other outstanding athletes, but
because it was too much, not be mentioned one by one.

exist in the Indonesian youth, and it should be developed. For this problem

Indonesia's talented young athletes. But there was another problem, namely old
age insurance, which guarantees to be provided to athletes during retirement.
