Actually the definition of entrepreneurship is quite
varied, but here we are trying to create a definition of entrepreneurship in
general and everyday language.
As we know comes from the word entrepreneurship
entrepreneurship and self-employment consists of two words, namely,
entrepreneurial meaning warrior, hero, warrior, superior, heroic, while the
other one is a word that means the business works, do something.
Thus the notion of entrepreneurship in terms of the
meaning of the word is a tough guy who does something. But if a more detailed
definition of entrepreneurship here we will take from several sources.
Referring to the Minister of Cooperation and
Development of Small businessmen 961/KEP/M/XI/1995 number, stated that:
Entrepreneurs are people who have the spirit,
attitude, behavior and entrepreneurial abilities.
Entrepreneurship is a passion, attitude, behavior
and ability to handle business or activity directed to seek, create and
implement ways of working, new technology and products to improve efficiency in
order to provide better service and or earn greater profits.
Entrepreneurship or the French language is called
entrepreneurship and if translated literally as intermediaries has meaning,
defined as self-attitudes and behaviors that can incorporate elements of
creativity, taste and work or be able to combine elements of creativity,
challenge, hard work and satisfaction to achieve maximum performance.
Stoner, James: entrepreneurship is the ability to
take the factors of production-labor land, labor and capital-use it to produce
goods or services. Entrepreneurs recognize opportunities that are not seen or
ignored by other business executives.
