Process-Production-Video
Preproduction /
preproduction
Preproduction or
Pre-production is the planning stage. In general, a preparatory stage before
the start of the production process (shooting film or video). With the birth of
digital video technology and methods of nonlinear editing the video production
process becomes easier. When we are going to start a project, sometimes we have
had video stock-shoot/footage we need, for that we have to do a re-match all
the needs a story that will
we make. That is,
we have to prepare the existing video footage, photographs, charts and graphs,
illustrations, or animations. But many did the videographer who start from
scratch or from scratch. At its core purpose of pre-production is preparing
everything so that the production process can be run according to the concept
and produce a digital video works in line with expectations.
• Outline
To easily create
video projects, then we have to make a rough plan as a basis for
implementation. Outline translated by making the points work serves to help us
identify what material should be made, obtained, or arranged so that our work
can run. Outline can be prepared by a co-worker or a client of ours, so that we
can produce a vision and a shared vision of the steps of the project will be
made.
• Script /
Screenplay
By using the
outline alone is enough to begin the implementation phase of production, but in
a variety of models of video projects, such as television commercials, company
profile, soap operas, television dramas, feature films and animated films still
requires formal scenario that contains the dialogue, narration, setting record
location, action, lighting, angles and camera movement, sound atmosphere, and
so forth.
• Storyboard
If less enough
to outline and scenario, then we can also include a storyboard in a series of
planning our production process. Storyboard is a graffiti drawings / sketches
like comic drawings depicting the events in the film. In the picture also
contains a record of the scene, sound, camera angles and movements, and so
forth. Using storyboard will clearly facilitate the implementation of the
production process will be.
• Budget Plan
When we were
working on a personal or professional projects, it is advisable to plan the
production budget. In a professional project, budget plan is useful for
securing corporate finance. Without a planned budget, and only rely on
speculation, the percentage loss will be great. Plans budget covers salaries
for our co-workers, actors and other talent (effect specialist, graphic
designer, musician, narrator, and animal trainers), as well as the purchase of
DV tapes, the cost of rental locations, costumes, properties, equipment rental,
catering and others.
Production /
Production
"Quiet on
the set! Action! and Roll 'em! ", these words are often heard when the
shooting took place, in essence event record straight, animated scenes and
sound on film, videotape or DV to produce footage / clip is called"
production "or the production process. During the production process, our attention
will be focused on lighting / lighting, blocking (where and how an actor or
subjects we
move), and shooting (how the movement of the camera and the scene where we see
the corner). There are many good references to learn more about the production
process. Making animation / motion graphics can also be categorized in the
production process, because it aims to produce footage that will be compiled
and edited in post-production process.
Post Production
/ Post-Production
After the
production process it will produce footage or video clips collection. To build
and deliver a story, it must edit and organize clips and of course the added
visual effects, graphics, titles and soundtrack. The above process is called
post-production or postproduction. Here is an application from Adobe that is
specifically designed for post-production process:
• Adobe Premiere
Pro, editing applications are real-time for professionals in the field of
digital video production.
• Adobe After
Effects, a special application for Motion Graphics and Visual Effects.
• Adobe Audition
™, professional applications for digital audio processing.
• Adobe Encore ™
DVD, DVD authoring for professional applications.
In addition to
the above applications, also known as two professional graphics applications
are playing an important role in producing high quality graphic elements, the
application is Adobe Photoshop ® and Adobe Illustrator ®. On the other chapters
will also be discussed methods of integrating various Adobe products for
post-production purposes.
